You have to decide that you want diesel over gas for one. Many really like the gas mileage of diesel. Other like the availability of gas. And check with CArol about the fun of having someone work on a diesel generator. :) They are definitely a good size to fit in may places easily as long as they have the space inside and outside you need and want. You never know who shows up on any particular day on the assembly line to put your rig particular together :? but there is a reason that the W brands have been around so many years. They are known for putting a good product out there.

So far, I love my Itasca Navion. It has a Mercedes chassis with the house portion made by Winnebagp. I've had it since May and so far no problems. A lot will depend on how many people you plan to be using it. In my case, it's primarily me and my 2 dogs. I've also taken 2 of my grandchildren on a couple trips. I would think more than 2 adults would be a little cozy, but certainly has enough sleeping space for 4. The ride is so smooth and it's very easy to drive. I had no problem in getting accustomed. In fact, I felt completely at ease on my first test drive. I didn't want anything big, and this rig fits the bill for me. I've consistently gotten 16-18 mpg using diesel. It's 24' 9" in length with 2 slides, and there are several different floor plans for the Navion. It's definitely high quality and well made.

So far I can't think of any cons. Let me know if I can provide any other info.
Sandi
