Colors of Brown County

Well our fall colors finally came - a little late but spectacular just the same. Had a great day today. Went out to lunch, took a drive through the park and Kyle won the Nationwide race. Some of the pictures I took - took over 100!

Thanks for the pics.

We've got some color here but not like it should be. Don't know if it's because of not having much raid this past summer or not. Usually if ya have not really a wet summer but a summer with good rain you will have good color. The color we have is kinda hit and miss really.

I do miss the north in the fall but love the south in the spring. I love seeing all the little green things budding out.

Oh, those pictures are wonderful. Your color might be later than expected, but it sure is beautiful. Thanks for taking the pics and sharing them.

This is the first year in a while that we haven't made a trip to see the fall colors. Thanks for bringing it here in sunny, little color but green, FL. :D carold

Those are so beautiful - thanks. We don't have fall color here in Texas.

beautiful colors! thanks so much for the time you spent taking them and
posting them. I'm so convinced Arizona has no color at all except tumbleweed
brown or desert sand. And once I get past my front door I see more than
gravel grey.

Oh Thank-You for the Fall Colors, I was beginning to think I would never see them this year. Oh how I miss the Leavenworth WA area, colors are so pretty then!

What beautiful photos, Carol! Thanks so much for sharing them! Our colors peaked weeks ago, and I miss the yellows and reds and oranges of fall.

We've had winter already, with 16 inches of snow! However, the 57 deg. temps we had today really melted it down quite a bit....except in the shade in the woods, where I can still ski!

I so love looking at other people's pics from various parts of the country/world. By the way, do we have any members not in this country or Canada?

My pleasure - and I'm glad I took them when I did as the wind has come up and most of the leaves are now on the ground or crispy brown. Only lasted a day or two.
I gave the web site to a lady from Canada, but she isn't much of a computer user - so...

Love the fall colors, especially the bright reds. Glad to see they grace many parts of the country, as my experience was mostly where I grew up in NH & VT. Thanks for posting those.
