Beth - I've been sharing your calving video with a friend from work that was in Alaska this summer. You photographs are simply amazing! I'm going to have to share some of them with him as well. He was totally impressed with your video.

Loved all of these latest updates, but tears again when I saw the pictures of Herschel. The sea otters brought back my usual foolish grin. (If only it was that simple, eh? )

Beth, I sure am going to miss your blog posts and pictures of your time in Valdez and on the Lula Belle. I have enjoyed your summer there. Cannot wait for next summer's if you are going to be there again.

Thanks for the post Beth, I would have been totally freaked at all that ice coming toward the boat even if it was an awesome sight! The whale playing with the boat was amazing.

The whale playing around the boat was amazing. It makes you wonder what they are thinking.... Will be thinking of you this weekend...knowing the season is coming to an end...

All I can say is: SPECTACULAR!!!

Awesome post !!! The whale playing was fantastic, I enjoyed every pic of that. He was HUGE !!! 4 post to see at one time, we are spoiled and will all miss your time on the LULU BELLE. Tell your Captain his cruises are awesome.
