Nan and I are staying over another night. We have been racking up some mileage and thought we needed to rest a day. The dogs have enjoyed their extra walks.

Great post Tina, I liked all the pictures but really enjoyed the ones of the hammers and old tools. I have a small collection of tools, some I have no idea what they were used for originally.

I'm with Sharon; cannot see anything but the header. No problem with the one on Dawson. Somebody help!

I was surprised the crabs were prepared live then cooked - we throw them in boiling water live then once cooked, break them open and pick the meat out.

Well I'm happy again. Could see all the photos and description this morning. Thank you Tina for remembering to share with those of us not on Facebook.
Have you been practicing your "fine arts" manners so you can try the high tea on your way back thru Canada?
EDIT: I spoke too soon. Still cannot see the Haines post; it was the next one on Skagway that came up . Can see that one fine.

Fabulous post, great pictures, and narrative makes it easy to feel you're there seeing and doing also, except for the taste of my crab
Missing that as I love crab, not sure about cleaning guts out
Thanks Tina, stay safe,
CArol

AGAIN I lost my reply. Happens so often! When I click on "Submit" I get thrown off the site! Okay, Beth, what did I do to tick you off? (just kidding)
Anyway - I didn't get the pics either, darn!

Wow, that crab looked delicious! Red, I love seafood too and between your lobster pics and now these, I am going to have to get a seafood fix pretty soon!

very interesting blog, its been so long since I've had crab I can't remember the taste, just that it always tasted good
Guess I'm gonna have to
treat myself to some crab sometime soon. (secretly, I'm been thinking of a trip to Red Lobster)
