Great photos and love the various modes of camping. My DH and I just toured the Bill Cody museum in LeClaire, Iowa last week. LeClaire was Cody's birthplace.

I love to see the progression of RV'ing/camping. Someday I want to see the museum for this. I think it is in Elkhart, IN. Great pics.

Dawn--I visited the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart two summers ago when I went up to Michigan. It was very interesting to see all the RVs. There is also an RV museum in Amarillo and it is free!
http://www.rvmuseum.net/I haven't made it there yet but it sounds like it would be very good too and so much closer for one of your first trips.

Colleen, thank you! I sure enjoyed seeing those RV's they have found and restored. The ones they have left in the condition found in we're really neat too. Our family was still tent camping until the late 60's. Chuck and I bought our first truck cab over camper in 80 or 81. We had so many great camping trips when the kids were little. Mom and Alvin had a cabover and so did my sister and her husband. We would all go together and have wonderful vacations. Great, great memories!
