Traveling to Valdez and The Worthington Glacier

Am finally slowing down enough to post some pictures. Nan and I are boondocking outside of Valdez hoping to get a view of Mamma bear and her cubs. Unfortunately Momma is not a "union" bear and follows her own schedule. But if not tonight maybe tomorrow!

Great pictures and story. Looks like you've been having a great time. I'm looking forward to visiting Valdez too. Hope Beth isn't sick of company by then, haha.

That looked like fun but also a little scary..sinkholes, slippery ice, wheee :o Did you see any of the other people wearing golf shoes? I remember them saying the commercials about sparkling clean as a glacier or something like that is not accurate. They are full of dirt and rocks. I guess you confirmed this when you got up close and personal but not too much so, thank goodness!

Enjoyed your post...loved the pictures of the glacier interesting colors that blue is so pretty
and admire you both for your imitations of billy goats a lot more than I think I could have managed
