Neat eagle shots. We are slowly making our way towards Homer and enjoying all the spots. We are all looking forward to our Lulu Bell trip!

My (now deceased) husband use to help load those super tankers. They are from Toyoko. The gas pumped from AKs wells is so pure, Japan has to mix it with some of their inferior stuff. The gas is pumped from their offshore platform to the onshore facility and cooled to a liquid for transporting. Last I heard Cococophillips was about to close their LNG plant in Nikiski as their well was about dry. (not a surprise as they pretty much know the life expectancy) I have taken a chopper out to their platform in the inlet and seen the operation firsthand. All fasinating, and very dangerous.

We will be in Valdez a couple more days. Next planned stop is the bore tide back at Turnagain Arm August 2.

You know how much I love the ice out there. Love the pics you got. All of them, but in particular some of those ice shots. I'm still using one of my favorite ice shots from 3 years ago as my screen saver on this computer.

Golly thought I'd posted something to the effect totally enjoyed...but either the gremlins got it
or I just imagined that I'd posted something...either one is quite likely
