   I love it!!

I was trying to get the attention of the 6 month old across the street and he was not interested until I held out my iPhone! Babies seem to come already geared for technology!

That's the way I feel with my DH. I don't know how many time I've told him how to get to the shows he has recorded on the Direct TV thing. I have to check every so often and delete the shows he has recorded by mistake. When my boys left home I inherited the electronic tech jobs and I don't like it. I can't remember everything I know, don't want to learn anything new.

My son tried to give me a new phone yesterday because he says my phone has an echo. I wouldn't take it. I know how to use mine and I don't want to learn another one. It was about half the size of the one I have. I would never find it in my purse.

Now that I have an iPad with FaceTime my 7 yr old GD uses her iPod touch with FaceTime and wants to connect every other hour. I was going to start reading her a night time book, but there is a 5 hour time difference. The new technology is really making a difference with being able to be a part of my grand kids' life even though they are 3,500 miles away. :D

I love FaceTime for talking to my daughter and grandkids in Alabama.
