Beautiful as always! Everyone's blogs and pictures keep Alaska on my bucket list. Asked Mom and she said she had always wanted to see AK too. Maybe in a couple years.

Thanks for sharing your tour of the Sea Life Center. I'm astonished at the beauty of the birds and animals. Seward sure knew what he was doing on so many levels.

Thanks for sharing the great pix. I enjoyed that wildlife center when I was in Seward. Have you seen the cruise ships come and go?

And to answer the question...yes, we got to see a couple of cruise ships go and come. One of the interesting things was to watch them do a complete pivot right in the middle of the harbor. Not a circle mind you but a pivot. Nan saw one of the larger cruise ships back out of the dock area and pivot and the next day I watch a slightly smaller cruise boat make the pivot on the way into the dock and then it backed in along side the dock area. Seems like handy technology and good captain skills.

I cannot imagine a big cruise ship doing a pivot turn!
