Just posted today's travels....too hot to take photos of Ceder River CG, Tipton, Iowa...off I-80 W exit 267....We 3 are miserable.... 100F here...

I could have told you to take US 30 west Even take that around Chicago to go north to WI, unless I'm going to Milwaukee - and could even then as there are some places I like on that route - or of course, when I'm actually going to Chicago or the suburbs (remember, I grew up there).

we lived in Muscatine Iowa which isn't far from Tipton...it was after we retired found out that they have
the best old fashioned ice cream bar been there for a hundred years if I remember right
