Decided to have this under a topic where you all would get word from me. I thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers and greetings. When moved down on the floor yesterday , I was greeted as the R.V. Lady. Guess I've had the whole place a buzzin. These people are awesome with they caring and all they could do for me,I am learning more each day what all they have. Done. To be honest I don't know or remember much from following Nan into wal mart last Thursday .
I saw a topic hear. About the ins GS has for loners who LOVE to travel . When I remembered, After asking God to send someone to please help me I woke up Sun. Morning with call them in my mind. She was most helpful and fast when she found I really only knew town and wal mart and was alone , don't think I sounded to sound in mind (ok no comments). CShe found the clinic had a cab dispatched and he was at the door. I have no idea what I wore except my Alaska jacket, I was freezing. Hair not combed, a mess. But when you're oxygen level is half or less then what it should be, what brain you have doesn't. Work.
Gotta go breathing treatment

Carol, I'm glad you're out of ICU and in a regular room now. Keep getting better and try to do what they tell you.
Being known as the RV Lady isn't such a bad thing!

Will see if I can finish this. Lack of oxygen has brought new problems besides the Pneumonia. What. A sneaky disease. It is, it seems I've had it for awhile. Now I have heart issues that may go or can be treated and. Gone, nothing can be done for month or so to try to resolve that problem. No one knows when I will be leaving here, I will go to my sons for a month of rest . My DIL is finding a heart dr there for me.
So much to say, no energy. My Maggie is at a spa, country inn for doggies, I get reports she's doing good. I'm praying she doesn't feel I have deserted her.
What a scary time, yes to anyone who wants peace of mind while traveling. Ea program saved my life WHEN I remembered I. Had it.
Thank you Liz for shopping with me and talking me into this IPad , I will use it plenty now, it seems heavy glad I am not trying to use laptop . IPad does it's own thing and this morning I have let it. Very tird ,but my sis will be here soon from hotel ., she arrived yesterday.
Here's breakfast and coffee, see brain is working, all of this and no coffee. LOL Mistakes and all, thank you all for being the best group of friends anyone could ever have.

So glad you are on the mend, albeit slowly. And happy that your sister was able to come and be with you. Did your GS policy help with that? I pray that you will continue to improve and that a nmonth or more of rest and therapy will restore you to good health and able to travel.

Wonderful that they kicked you out of ICU. Herschel said to send good greetings to his friend Maggie but to remember that as long as the staff are taking good care of her and since she is such a personable girl, how could they not?....that dogs are pretty good adapters to what life sends them....they don't have the philosophical hang ups that humans care around with them.....but he knows that she will be glad to see you again when you head out of there!
Get stronger ever day and heal.....missing you and the Maggie....

Such good news! I'm sure it was scary but so very glad such good and loving people were there to take care of you. Now just concentrate on getting well! And don't get too frustrated if it seems to take a while,as I've heard and seen pneumonia really knocks you off your feet for a bit. One day at a time and you'll be on the road again!

Whew!!! What a relief to see you posting.......
So very, very glad that you are out of ICU and now on the mend even if it will take you a little while to be back to fighting form and RV speed! And you will get there too I have no doubt about that.
So be a very good girl and make sure you listen well to everything the doctors tell you and be sure to follow all instructions! And then you will be back out on the road with Maggie.
Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

What a happy surprise to see your post this AM, Carol!
Goodness, you had a very rough time of it.
Glad your furbaby is in a safe place and happy.
I will continue praying, especially for your patience as you work through the recovery process, and for all your medical staff, too. Hugs!
