I am really enjoying the reports of the Alaska caravan. I know you girls are having so much fun. I don't have a RV yet but I do have a "Bucket List". Here's mine:
Savannah and Charleston
Florida Keys
Alaska
Coastal drive from Washington to Northern California
Maine
Nova Scotia
Route 66
Lewis and Clark trail
Care to share yours?

I have never made a list of things I would like to do but I like some of yours. I would like to see Savannah and Charleston. Years ago we were in Florida a week for horse shows and I thought about just driving down to the Keys. When I looked at a map I think it was about 600 miles from where we were so couldn't do that. Would like to go to Maine. Most of my trips have a short time limit so can't see the things I pass. Maybe someday.

I would like to visit the 48 contingent states and camp in each one. Fortunately, being a truckers wife, I have seen many of the states, but we never had the time to stop in each one. One year at a time.

Great bucket lists ladies! I live in CA and have seen much of the beautiful/scenic West; however, there is still so much more to see. Hope to do that maybe starting this summer. As far east as I've been (Michigan and Niagara Falls) but would still love to see more. It's all an adventure.
Happy travels!!

My bucket list is much more specific now - and not written down anywhere - so I sometimes forget things and then have a reason to go back to an area. (I can't think of any area I couldn't find more to see and do it - but some I love more than others.)
The longer I'm on the road (only 3 states the rv and I haven't spent the night in - one I used to live in, one I spent lots of time in and the other is Hawaii - simply isn't going to happen. So, I don't have states to visit, or even specific cities anymore - but stops within the places. Like I had the migration area in Fairbanks. And I have going back to Denali. Here in Valdez I still have 1/2 a dozen things I "have" to do. And keep adding more. And then add things I've done before to do again.
For those of you with Savannah on your list - I LOVE Savannah - have been their twice now with the rv - the 2nd time was over St. Patrick's Day - and I believe they have the 2nd largest celebration in the US - but they like to think they're the largest. It's unbelievable and so much fun. (Said from me, the one who likes to be in the wilderness all alone ... hahaha)
And I would like to be able to say I've stopped at almost all the National Parks and National Monuments - cannot believe how many National Monuments there are. But I try to make side trips to them whenever possible - and will continue doing so. Loved Devil's Tower and would have liked to have gone back there on my way north this year, but it'll have to be another year. Went other places instead.

My original RV goal when I bought the rig in 2008 was: at least one night in each of the lower 48. Last year I hit 32 and expect to add 5 more this year. There are places I would like to return and places I would like to explore further. I also love national parks and would love to collect more stamps in that passport. Neat thread.

My problem is I also have a huge global bucket list as well - too many places and definitely not enough time - this pesky work thing keeps getting in the way. Then there's the repeat visits. I've been to the Southwest part of Colorado 3 times and still have places to see and things to do. I'm going to MI for the second time in less than a year and explore the northern part of the mitten in July then will be back there again next year. And these are all trips where I don't have the trailer although one of my Colorado trips was tent camping.
I am looking forward to the time I can retire, which should also just about coincide with my ability to get the National Parks pass.

I'd like to visit almost all of the places everyone else has listed, but would also like to do both coasts north to south, as close to the respective oceans as possible--U.S. 1 on the west coast, and whatever is the equivalent on the east coast.
- Ontario, from Tobermory on Georgian Bay of Lake Huron to Ottawa, where all of my great and great-great grandparents lived. I have some distant cousins sprinkled around who have said they are willing to show me some family sites, so I would like to do that.
- Prince Edward Island and some other parts of the Canadian Maritimes.
- Circle Lake Superior again, as I did with my kids 30 years ago.
Fun to think of these places.
