I'm officially at Mile "0" in Dawson Creek. Never made it there last trip due to fires, etc. Am staying at my first cg with electric in a long time. Windy and cold today - after some beautiful and balmy days. Wind is what is doing me in.
Caught my blog up with 3 posts - completely up to date, yahooo...

Check out all the murals there - and just out of town off wht is now the main highway is one of the original bridges built for the highway - quite impressive
Enjoy your trip and time there.

As always I enjoyed your pics and text. I so wish I could have jumped in with the Alaska bound group..maybe another time but there is still much to explore just in the lower 48 for me.

Believe me, I'm long from done with the lower 48, too. Always more to explore and see - and often to go back to an area because I never see everything.

When I read the part on FB about running the heater and two electric heater...it pretty much told me what the wind was doing. Nothing sucks the heat out out our rigs faster that a strong cold wind.
Hope you and Peaches made it through without turning into an ice cube.....on the Alaska!

Just to let you know the already extended daylight hours - which I've been noticing lengthening daily
Today's sunrise in Dawson Creek: 5:57 am
And tonight's sunset will be: 9:58 pm
And we're more than a month away from our longest day - I love it.
By Sat the 19th - sunrise here will be 5:41 and sunset 10:14 - course, I'll be gone - but will be similar or longer where I'll be ...
