GPS help
Posted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 7:06 pmI am baffled by my GPS. Does anyone know how I see the route my Garmin has decided I should follow? I would like to know if it is at least taking me in the right direction

Posted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:21 pmThe route should be highlighted in purple. And you should be able to go into Settings or Tools and get turn by turn directions.

Posted: Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:19 amBJ, if it's like mine, after you've put in your destination, and it has calculated the route, touch the green (I think) bar that goes across the top.
A new screen will pop up with all the directions to the destination. Down at the bottom, there's a bar that says SHOW MAP. If you press that, it will show your entire route on the map screen.

I printed my route from Mapquest and only concerned about going though Nashville, I want to take the Briley Parkway to hook up to 40 so guess it will just scream recalculating if I don't go where she wants.
