Dinner with Bethers :-)

Had a quick visit with Beth this evening, pizza at Barro's. It was good, and the company was fabulous
of course. Sorry to say there were no pictures taken, my camera had dead batteries so I didn't even
take it and we were so busy gabbing that Beths camera stayed in the case. Besides, my face just
isn't as pretty as all those birds Beth gets pictures of. Wanted to make sure Beth got back
to her campground so she could get some good pictures of the sunset. I've been where she is and
that area is gorgeous for a desert setting.

Was so great seeing you again! And you are so very much as beautiful as any bird/animal pic I've ever taken. Unfortunately, I can't prove it since, as you said, neither of us took a pic. I had both my camera and phone with, but didn't think of it until back in the car.

The sunset was a little strange - but I only caught the tail end of it - was already happening. That said, I saw dozens and dozens of gambel's quail and Peaches saw bunnies - of various varieties, as we walked in the near dark. Wonder what we can see when it's light out :)

Already looking forward to my next trip to the area - at least we DO get together, no matter how briefly.

Glad you were able to gtg. I'd fuss about the lack of photos but do recognize it is hard to remember to pull camera out when busy talking and eating with friends.

That reminds me...I still need to post the photo of me and Linda from our GTG last month.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

So glad you got together. I'm bad about remembering my camera. I went to my grandaughter's birthday party last weekend and forgot it. She was 6 and was dressed as a princess. My son sent me a picture.
