Yep, for the umpth time we were threatened with average $5 gas prices - but now they are saying the worst may be over:

Diesel is 4.09 at some stations not sure what gas is don't pay attention to that

The 76 station on the corner was at $4.12 and is now $4.08

Not sure it is over but it does look better here too. Regular at SAMs today was $3.70 and I noticed diesel at JetPep for $3.99

Does this mean 'they' gouged just long enough, before seeing fuel consumption going down.?

its been averaging 3.87 at Frys grocery but I use my points and get it cheaper. Last fill up I paid 3.47.
The local news says its going down around town so we will see what I pay today when I go fill up.

So far it hasn't gone over $3.75 for ethanol for me.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.
