Beth you find some of the prettiest places. Looking at your pictures, was so peaceful, what a wonderful boondocking,(no less) place to stay. I'm loving your trip, you have found some of the most interesting places.

Thanks for posting for us to enjoy too,
CArol :)

Thank you for sharing these photos and the thoughts on your trip. I am living vicariously through you. You have caught nature very nicely. Your dog is soo sweet, and combing her out is such a labor love. I used to work at White Sands Missle Range and am somewhat familiar with the area, but I never knew that there was a Holloman Lake. Keep enjoying your travel. Good for you. Tatjana

Thanks once again Beth. You will be my role model for following those interesting roads to find the out of the way spots.....

I do remember about 9 years ago when my daughter and I flew out to CA to visit for a week (her brother was working in San Fran at the time) We rented a car and drove up to Yosemite across the pass and then south down the west side of the sierra mts and then back west zig zagging back across the mts so that we could head back to the Sequoia National Park. Here and there along some creek I would notice some truck camper or class C parked in a pull off down next to the water..... :)
