They have covered picnic tables at the end of the road. That's where I had my lunch. I took pictures of Sammie in the sand and since then have combined it with a picture of her in the snow. No one realizes the difference.

After leaving White Sands I stayed at a Casino up the road toward Roswell. That was quite an experience. Two cattle trucks parked next to me to move livestock from one trailer to the other at about 10 pm. Other than that it was a nice stay.

now that is more of a desert than what we live on in AZ how white the sand is
