Since I was so picture heavy - I've split my blog into several posts - and here they are:

Big Bend - Part 1

Big Bend - Part 2

Big Bend - Part 3

Terlingua Ghost Town

and, finally:

Marfa and the Lights

That takes me to this morning, whew! Of course, if you want to work backwards, just click the link to my blog in my signature and follow them through that way.

I was really interested in what you thought of Big Bend. That place does grab you, doesn't it?

Bethers...you are amazing. I can appreciate all the time it takes to posting blogs. So much so, I am considering just facebooking my journey this summer instead of blogging it. It is so time consuming! (Already posted to Bethers blog on fb ;)

The reason I do the blog - it is my journal of my favorite pics, also. So, I'll continue it. But I also save ALL the pics - and sometimes go through them, also. If it weren't for the digital age, wouldn't be able to do that. Took about 1200 or so pics the last few days. Gasp.

My last trip to AK I was taking 300-500 per day - it's how I get the shots I like. That said - I only post the ones I like the best. And rarely ones of others if I don't think they look good in them. Although butt shots are always ok :)

Good blog entries, thanks Beth.

Loved the info on the lights that I went to view. Just can wrap my head around them thinking they are reflections of car headlights or campfires. Neat tho!!!

I can't imagine if they are car headlights or campfires, why they aren't seen often in so many other areas? And then how are there stories of them long before cars? Where there that many campfires? hahaha - they are so interesting and they aren't really explained - and the groups that say they have "scientifically" explained them have other groups saying they aren't even close. After watching them - I say they aren't even close.
