Trip cancelled....

Well, after a couple of days of discussion, Hubby and I have decided to not go to the family gathering in AR. One reason is finances. Another reason is that the whole thing was turning into being dictated to as to what we could and could not do or where we could or could not stay so not to inconvenienc a couple of people. Sorry for the vent...
This doesn't mean that we won't be taking a trip, just not the first week of April... The only reason now that we wanted to go was to go to CofD.. Another time.

Sorry, you've had to cancel your trip plans. Sometimes, our trips to just see our country are happier times. Also plans in jello, are more fun too. Just head in one direction and see all the interesting things you will find. Keeping track of where all the Sistahs might be, for a GTG
Vent all you want, one of our services to each other

Yes Liz, I'm already planning a trip.. One where we can just kick back, go fishin, just enjoy...

Hey there, Joy! Family GTGs can often be stressful, for many different reasons, so just relax and plan your own "kick-back" trip closer to home where you can be your own bosses! Don't ever worry about complaining about whatever----we are the kind of family who can listen, sympathize, empathize, and then toss it all away when things clear up! What was that quote I am trying to remember that ends with "and with a breath of kindness, blow the rest away." I will find it and be better next time in quoting it, as I love it. It involves sifting through things, keeping what is worth keeping, and then that final sentence.

That is a very fitting quote. Don't think I had heard that before but I like the thoughts.
Plans are in jello if one doesn't work, back up and go another direction. Life is way too short to be stressed.
