Head is spinning!!!

My head is spinning, both literally and figuratively!!!

I have had six showings on my condo in 4 days--three of them today. I also got one offer late today from someone who went through yesterday or the day before. Then just had a very nice, young couple go through who spent quite a bit of time trying to decide where they would place their furniture in each room! (Husband wanted to put sectional blocking window--wife disagreed--agent and I told him to let her decide!) They want to come back during the day so they can see the landscaping and outdoor areas. They were very enthusiastic. (Realtor told me his life history. I think he was slightly hitting on me because he told me he was single. Where do these guys come from??? Do not need a significant or any other kind of "other" right now in my life!)

So, then, as I am writing email to agent letting her know about young couple and that I would call her tomorrow to discuss offer, she sends me an email that I will probably get ANOTHER offer tomorrow from someone who went through earlier today!!! Not the same couple because that one had a female agent.

Literal head spinning is from bending over and kicking off my vertigo! Need to check my blood pressure, also.

I had no idea the real estate business was doing so well. It is true that things in Michigan are looking better than the rest of the country, but WOW! This is positive news for all of the rest of you who are cleaning out and getting ready to run away from home.

Wow! I'm so glad you're getting so many showings, now we're crossing fingers for multiple offers. All you'll have to worry about is stopping your head from spinning long enough to sign your name! :D

Took my blood pressure after initial posting and then just now, and it is MUCH better. Maybe that was making me dizzy. Everything is happening so fast.

This is sort of "be careful what you ask for" situation. One thing opens up whole new set of problems. However, a good offer will really help me solve where to live for the last month of work or so.

Thanks for all of your support. Whew.

Maybe i will change signature to 3 months before retirement and quit work at beginning of June instead of end of June. Could afford that with good offer.

Oh, Judy, this is such wonderful news. And I'm so glad your blood pressure is back down - please, don't let your place having such a good response cause you to be ill. But do take credit for getting the place into shape to get all this interest.

Fingers and toes crossed that you have an offer you want to accept - or, as others say, they bid each other up and you just sit back and watch the show :)

Wow Judy, that's teriffic news. Now to see what happens. Actually I think condos are in more demand then houses espeicially for younger couples with careers in mind and also for older couples looking to retire. As for houses, I am not sure although they seem to be moving a bit up here as well. Hard to say though as the signs are buried under two feet of snow

Remember, you can always stipulate that you won't quit working till June unless you want to get out and leave it. At least stage one of your dream is on the roll.

YAY, Judy! Stay calm, and, as others have said, let them start outbidding each other! Keep that vertigo under control so you can hit the road with a clear head!

Have not yet responed to the first offer, but am waiting to hear if a lady who came through for the second time this evening is going to make an offer or not. Turns out she is someone who who works in the same larger group at work, but who is new and who I have only met twice!! She came over for a long chat at work today because she has a lot of questions about condos. If she makes an offer, I can stay until June so I won't be homeless.

Another person coming through tomorrow, and they also know there is at least one offer pending, so it is getting exciting, and I am sitting on pins and needles.

I thought I would list it and it would take months and months to sell. Amazing.

Judy, I am so glad to hear that things are moving right along for you. Hopefully, you can work it out so that the sale and the buy come together. Sometimes a solid offer from a reputable money in hand is better than a high I can get the money offer. The high I can get the money offer will fall thru and the solid offer is gone. So watch you eggs and wait for them to hatch then count you chickens.

I know things will work out and you will make them work for you. Take a deep breath! :o :o

So when do you take possession of your rig? You know you could practice living in it while you finish out your work. Then all you'd have left to do is sell you car and hit the road!!

Again, congrats on working your behind off getting things ready and then getting it done.
