Ok Ladies... This is an experiment to see if I can do this... Hope it works...

Didn't get it done......

Ok.. What do I do? I emailed a pic of our RV to myself from my phone. Saved it in my pics on the puter. Came here and tried to load it. I clicked "Img" and got brackets... :?: :?: Heeeelllllppppp :!: :?

You have to paste the picture between the brackets.

You also have to use a photo hosting service online such as photobucket or Picasaweb. What you put between the IMG brackets is the url where the photo is located.

It is daunting the first time you do it, isn't it?

First thing, you have to upload the picture from your computer to a photo hosting sight. Many of us use Photobucket.

Once that's done, copy the [IMG] [ /IMG] codes and everything in between. Come over here to the Forum and paste it in your message.

Let me know if you need screen shots.

You can do it!!

ON EDIT: For instance, if you use Photobucket, hover your mouse over the picture you want to copy. You'll see something like this:

Image

See where it says IMG CODE? You want to copy everything in that line to the right. That's what you paste over here. If you have grabbed the [IMG] codes correctly, you will NOT need to click on "Img" here in the Forum. You only need ONE set of [IMG] [ /IMG] codes.

Thanks Ladies.. I'm gonna write all this down and give it a try. We'll see how it goes.

Just to clarify one point made earlier, there is a difference between an Img and a url. I prefer using Img per mitch's directions. URL is a different button and the pictures disappear if the owner rearranges or deletes the picture in his online folder in the future.

If you go to the maint/tech room, there are step-by-step directions for both Picassa and Photobucket. Then you don't have to write it all down :)
