Doesn't this look like a very uncomfortable kayak (particularly for someone who is vertically challenged)?

LOL. This is my favorite yak of all the inflatables I
have tried! And yes, I have a pillow type floatation
device that I use as a seat cushion and it raises me up
to the perfect height to paddle. (and I'm not even
vertically challenged!)

PS don't know why it's riding so high in the front;
mine is good and level.

Are you planning to get a boat Mitch?

I am not only vertically challenged, but coordination challenged as well. With my replaced knees, I cannot imagine how I would get into or out of that. I have enough trouble just getting off the floor!

Actually I think it says "Twist", perfect for Mitch's twisted sense of humor! :D

Sorry - I didn't see this comment before.

I would like to get one; don't want to spend a lot until I see how I like it.

Looking at this nice and inexpensive one...

Are paddles geared toward the operator's height? (SHUT UP, VICKIE!)

No, but you might need a booster seat, er, cushion to sit on...just sayin'

I guess I'm going to have to "edit" my SHUT UP, Vickie in the future...

Ha!

But seriously... in the kayak I had, I needed a cushion to sit on to sit up a little higher so it would make it more comfortable for paddling (and sitting).

What Barbie said.... Just a little cushie for the tushie...... I think it helps keep your arms above the sides just enough that you don't bump the paddles as often. You don't want to sit up too high because then your center of gravity might make you more tippy.

Maybe I'll get a chance to actually use mine this summer! Here's hoping anyway!
