Cool photos of him...isn't that just the weirdest behaviour? It's almost like they go insane. When I was a little girl we had a robin do that to a gigantic picture window..(remember how we called big windows "picture windows" back then? anyway he broke the window and, of course, it had to be replaced and a large cost, I'm sure.
If you could some how cover the window so there is no more reflection he may go away, Duh, I am sure you figured that out without me.

Just protecting his space. If it bothers you, put some heavy soapy water to cover the reflection. If he goes to one spot just put it on that spot. It's easier to clean that other stuff. You must have some nice berry producers in your flower garden. You can try putting some suet out for him. May deter him from protecting, but then, it may not. Food is a life thing for the birds.

Somewhere they sell hawk cutouts to paste on your larger windows so birds won't crash into them thinking the reflections of trees are something they could land in.

At my mother's place, we routinely had this happen and would find dead or dazed birds. The dazed ones would recover if we put them on the wood pile away from other animals. We only had one cutout, but it did seem to help.
