Being almost Thanksgiving, I thought I would start this thread asking what you all are thankful for this year?

I am thankful for my sweet cat, my reliable car, my good job, my health, a comfortable place to live, and being able to live in beautiful California!

I'm thankful for all my family and friends and the good health we have. And, thankful for all my creature comforts!! He has made it all possible.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!

Oh wow! Do I have a long list... But will only list a few.

My kids most of all.
My Shade puppy.
My family even if we aren't living close by each other.
A place to live even tho it's far from great, it's shelter and I owe no payments.
The little money I have with which to buy me needs.
My friends near and far.
My forum sistahs!!! You are all awesome.

Most of all my family and wonderful friends. Good health and comfortable life. The many years I had with my wonderful husband and the realization that life goes on and Ill always have my memories. Wendy

There is so much to be thankful for!!!
being a citizen of this great nation
having a believe in our Father in Heaven and in His Son Jesus Christ
a loving husband
5 children and 11 grandchildren not to miss the spouses of those married
and a mother brothers and sisters nieces and nephews and their kids!!
being able to see all that we have been blessed with in this world
I am so grateful for all that He has given me

God and Family are the first things that comes to my mind... I have a wonderful family that would do anything for me...
Oh yes so thankful for good doctors that can help when needed...
I am also thankful that Echo and Kelly have a roof over their heads... not a tent on the ground...

Guess I didn't know this...or just forgot it.

In 1863 Abraham Lincoln made the following proclamation:
"It has seemed to me fit and proper that [the gifts of God] should be solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledged with one heart and one voice by the whole American people. I do, therefore, invite my fellow citizens . . . to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens."

Family and friends become more precious to me each day. (And will add travel adventures!)
