Would really appreciate some advice. Anyone know of any RV parks around the Palos Verdes, Torrance area (CA)? I'm going to be down there & will need to park close to daughters house as I don't think P.V. will allow me more than a week or so in front of their house. Just thought I'd ask...thanks in advance...

Char, you're pretty limited in your choice of RV parks in the PV area. There's one in Long Beach, near the Queen Mary. It's small, close to a main road, but seems to be well maintained. And then there's Dockweiller (sp?), which is essentially a parking lot with hook-ups. It's right on the beach, but also right under the flight path for LAX. Those are the only 2 I know of. You might check into mobile home parks to see if they have anything you could rent for a week or 2.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help get you situated down here. I'm pretty far east (out by Pasadena), but would be more than willing to help if needed.

Char - Stayed one night at the RV place in Long Beach - it is small but nice. Don't know about long term stay. And, there's a nice walking trail along the bay where the Queen Mary is. Of course, it was a beautiful day when we were there.

Morning Char
The one in Long Beach is Golden Shores RV Resort...it is small, but very clean and easy get to. I plan on living there once I get back to LA in January. Here''s the link:
http://www.goldenshorerv.com/index.htmlI went by there last week while I was in LA; they are very nice folks. It's very close living, but it's better than being right under the flight path at Dockweiler. It's right off the 710 freeway.
Good luck!
