A great house. The stuff around the house is very interesting. Would love to have seen some of the Berlin wall especially.

Great pics as always.

Wow....very nice do have to ask a question or two....the enclosure from Paris? can't recall the spelling so the enclosure was it used for what it sounded like?
and Frank Lloyd Wright is he the same guy that built the first aircraft that flew? If so didn't remember that he was an architect. And a very good one at that!

Yes, to the Paris structure. Pissoire

No, the brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright built the airplane. But Frank Lloyd Wright is pretty famous too in the world of architecture. Wonder if they are related?

Ordinarily I am not one for stopping at tourist attractions, but this one I would go out of my way to visit! Frank was one of my most favorite famous persons. This place has some amazing collections of history, as well as his own mind-boggling designs for a house. His buildings make ordinary structures seem rather blah and so uninventive. I feel about Wright's architecture designs similar to my awe of Dali's paintings....both men dared to put far-out ideas into physicalness, if that's a word. Thanks, as usual, Liz!
