what fun tours!! It looks so interesting...When I made dolls at the doll shop we also did figurines and used a technique and now I can't remember the name of it but it is from Spain and we understood that in those figurines from Spain that the workers will work for many many years before they are able to even be apprentices. Amazing the time one can take to develop those skills...La Largo but that isn't the right name I don't have a original to look at they sell for tons of money!
Really enjoyed the day Beth
Oh yes if you run across a ice cream called Almond Pistachio give it a try there is a place we stop at for hamburgers and they have this ice cream so yummy

Do you mean Lladro....? Yes, they do sell for tons of $$$$....but there are so many magnificent pieces............When my son graduated from college, I bought one...it is a statue of a graduate sitting on a chair in his hat & robe holding his diploma...it is beautiful. Have never been sorry that I bought it...

Thanks for sharing the tour. I especially enjoyed the glass company.

yes that is the one....many of them have lots of flowers on them and the detail and daintiness of them...and they use colorless paint when they paint the greenware so hard to remember and get the paint where you want and don't want it...
