Hi there - I know its been awhile but I think I'm starting to come around. Been getting a few gentle nudges from other members so thought I check in and let everyone know The Driver is doing fine - 3 months since his bypass surgery - and we've even brought Alfie home out of storage and are planning a trip next week to Elkhart to get his satellite and TV working. Jennie is now in storage for the winter.
Small steps first - I've been updating my blog for a few days with a little more info about my absence if you want to check it out.
http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com just finished an update with some pictures of our activities.
We had a great grand baby in June - the mother is the daughter of our son who just lost his wife - so a little sunshine there. And he texted us yesterday that he is 1/2 owner of a 20K lottery ticket.
We will probably be spending the winter in Mexico again but taking the big motorhome this time. Bill wants to leave her now cause it is cold already - 55 - don't think so....Probably end of October.

So good to hear that recovery is progressing. Have thought of you two a lot especially as I sit over here in Ohio but have figured that these recent "journeys" of yours have required some special attention to "new maps".....as you find your way through. Excited to hear that you are gearing up to head south again and that there are new "sun shines" coming into your family.
Now off to read your blog...remind the Driver about those occasional days of blistering Sept temps that we have to go through before we hit fall weather. These temps now are just messing with our heads....
Take care.....

So very glad to hear from you and that you and the Driver are doing better. We all have journey's that we need to traverse, some better than others. It just takes time to figure out the road plan. Glad that you seem to be finally finding your way on the roadmap of life. Off to catch up on your journey. You know we love and care for you and understand that at times we all need to take time off and just sit back and be. Hugs to you, GF!

It's good to see you back on the upswing of things. I think preparing for travel has a way of helping things along.

YAY, Carol, you posted and are on the upswing from this summer of hibernation. Funny, you ever realize we rver's are more prone to hibernating when we are sitting stagnant? At least it seems that way to me - even here for as long as I am this summer has been harder on me this year.
Hlad to see you posting. Now would you blow our rains in the NE down to TX where they need them? (Giving you super powers now, can't you tell!)

Carol, terrific that things are going well in all areas. Congrats on newborn and a little light that has entered into your son's life. So whose idea is it to take Momma to Mexico and leave the baby at home?
Just wanted the extra space??? BTW, your head has always been screwed on correctly

Have you looked on line for your material sometimes you can find good deals
