Where's Liz? Cape Cod, Day 2

I've been without Internet Service, but will get caught up again soon. Here's our second day on Cape Cod:

Liz, this may seem like a "duh" question. I notice that you often take your dogs on your explorations but when you can't, are you leaving them in your rig with the generator and a/c on? I've still only been on my one trip up north so haven't run in to this problem yet but know I will. My concern is whether leaving my rig unattended with the generator running is a risk when stopping on the fly.

Often at dog shows, handlers leave their gen on in the rigs to protect their dogs. I have done the same when heading in to restaurants. Depending upon the area of the country and how long I am planning to be away, the insulation in the rig provides a lot of protection and I will run the Fantastic Fan....and it is often enough.

Another great job, Liz.
I was a bit surprised at the crowds and traffic you have encountered. After Labor Day does sound like a good plan for return visit.

Thank you Liz I've always wanted to go to Cape Cod! I don't think I would want to live there especially in the summer with all the traffic.

Great pictures as usual Liz. Since I live on the east coast, I can certainly understand needing to make the trips here after the kids go to school. I can hardly get out of my driveway sometimes.

Great pics, Liz. YUP! The Cape in summer is a traffic bear. Bet you loved the round-abouts! LOL For those thinking about visiting after Labor Day: It is much quieter, but most campgrounds close for the season on Labor Day, so camping spots are a bit scarce. And there aren't all that many campgrounds for starters. The further out the Cape you drive, the fewer people (except Provincetown, of course). But you can't escape the line of traffic getting on or off Cape Cod. Folks who have to do it often usually go in the middle of the night.

My cousin lives on the Cape and she says it's almost impossible to even get to the grocery store. Plus the prices are higher in summer!

But I still love it there! Glad you got to see everything (almost).
