Yipee, Sharon is here

Sharon got in yesterday and I took her to my favorite Mexican restaurant. In more of her ongoing saga, her windshield blind fell while she was driving right in front of her onto the steering wheel. Also, one of her levelers won't come all the way down. My RV guy is coming by this AM to check it out. Maybe she should think about just not moving for a while.

Today we're going to Bandera, the cowboy capitol of the world, to the 11th street bar, a haven for cowboys and bikers. Pictures to follow.

And the wifi sucks, can only read a couple and then it goes out, but will keep trying.... Dinner was great and the cold beer even better!!!

Glad to know you are safe and sound for at least a little while until you move out again! Also glad Karen has an RV dealer to help you out! Good grief, Sharon-----how can so many mishaps occur in such a short time!! I am hoping the windshield blind came completely off and didn't just drop down, closed up, as you were driving? Perhaps it's time to eliminate that little item from your 'stuff'!

Karen, I merged your two identical posts. Would have deleted the 2nd, but after merging (both had responses) I just like the way it looks like you stuttered :)

Have a good time you two. Anyone else nearby you can get to join in the fun?

Sharon, if it weren't for bad luck...well you know the rest! :D Doesn't Sam the cat ride up on the dash? I'm thinking you not only had to deal with the blind but a very spooked cat too! Hopefully you've gotten rid of all the challenging experiences and it'll be clear sailing from here on out!

Chris the rv guy just left, was very impressed with his service and rates. Just needed fluid in the pump resevoir, so all is good....other than the shade, and that will have to wait. Nothing he could do for me there. sigh. Gonna be fun driving into the sun.

I'm not giving up yet and turning tail between my legs and heading for home! LOL!

Meeting Karen's DD and SIL around 4 in Bandera and...wait....Vicky (the nice one) is coming down! Yay! Gonna get to visit with her tomorrow! AND there's another surprise in store, but you'll have to wait until Tues to find out! LOL! Thursday I hit Looosiana to partay with my other Vickie and Ronnie the Wonder Man! Gotta call her so she gets plenty of grub in! :D

Perfect place here for the Samcat to go out, he's been driving me nuts to go, he went out, spent 5 min in the heat and wanted back in. Hasn't asked again. LOL! And no, thank goodness he wasn't on the dash when the shade came down, it would have scared him for life. He still has issues from the Alaska trip going over a girder bridge.

Wifi is much better since the big pusher on the end left, he was either downloading a bunch of stuff or blocking the signal. Yay!

Glad you made it and it was only fluid. Mine needed 3 quarts not long ago, it holds 1.5 gal. Who would have thunk it? Be safe and have a great time in Bandera, sounds like your like of place. Tell Vickie (the nice one) hello.

Sharon, are you sending RV mishaps out on the sound waves, just so you won't be lonely  Left today, it rained and the wiper in front of the passenger side broke off  tGM didn't seem to mind, so he wants to wait until we get back to FL to have it fixed. And on top of that-we've lost our inverter. Thought we had it fixed last winter, but yesterday it DIED :x :x Luckily our "wife" :D is working well. carold

Happy you made it to Karen's with almost no mishaps. The Saga of Sharon continues. It is going to be a better day tomorrow!

Sharon, ya must have been thinking about us over here in East Texas. It rained a bit today and cooled way down. At 6:30 instead of being 105* it was 87*. Hope you guys stayed out of jail in Bandera, well in K'ville too!

Stay safe, but have lots of fun. Will catch up with you down the road one of these days. Oh, yes, that's right, you will be pushing down the highway and blow right past me and I'll never catch up with you.

I keep telling you, Sharon, that the black cloud has chosen you because I'm not with you! You see, folks, she thinks this lil' ole lady has all the bad Mojo because I'm . . . . . well . . . . old! There's no little Flitter to target back there, so Hope is getting it!

Don't you have some of that dark, cling on plastic sun spot stuff to put on your windshield until you get the shade fixed? Or - just don't drive east until after lunch! LOL

Take care, GF
