Bathroom Painting Project Finished

Hi Ladies

I finished the bathroom painting project. And here are the pictures.

The first one is a collage of the before - the wallpaper is an ugly avocado green with white. How we have handled it for almost 5 years I don't know.

And this is about 45 minutes into the project when I was asking myself what every possessed me to think I wanted to paint the bathrom?

And this is the finished project - I really like how it turned out.

And like I said on my blog post of the same title:

IF YOU EVER HEAR ME MENTION PAINTING ANYTHING AGAIN IN THE MOTOR HOME TELL ME NO!!! :!:

Looks great. And just by looking at the difference - can imagine you'll end up doing something similar again - no matter how many times you say NO. LOL

Nice job.Ali, but, like you, something that would NOT be fun for me either! It makes the bathroom look bigger without the noisy wallpaper. Congrats!

Thanks everyone. I also bought a new shower curtain - I finally found one for a stall shower - only 54" wide instead of the standard 72" wide - what a difference that makes. Also found out it has these little tabs on it that suck to the wall so after the shower I can hang and then hook it to the far side of the tub to dry. I think that will also help with controlling the moisture in there.

Definitely easier on the eyes, Ali. Nicely done. I would love to have a different color in this coach, but that would involve taking out some of the furniture and window treatments. Not sure I want to do all that. carold

You did a great job...isn't it strange how after we finish a job like that we look back on the beginning of the project with such gladness that you're not starting it again  I think a small room, especially a bathroom is the hardest room of all. If you decide to do your bedroom for instance no doubt it will be easier. I hate taping and when I was painting more often I stopped taping and used a top grade slanted 1 1/2 inch, got pretty good at cutting in. Ron will be very proud of you I'm sure.
