Rattle those pots and pans!

Postby Sojourner » Wed Aug 03, 2011 8:27 pm

Does anyone have any good ideas for stowing pots and pans in such a way that they don't destroy themselves when in transit? I suppose I could put towels between them all, but I'm basically lazy (and don't want to take up space with a lot of towels).

Thanks,
Megan

I bought a roll of the rubber shelf liner and layer that between the pans.

Same here....works well!

Same here. Also use it between each plate and bowl, etc. Works great, lightweight, doesn't take up any space.

I have those rubber-like (silicone?) pot holders, which I use between the pots, and they do double-duty when I need a trivet or pot-holder. In my small rv, almost everything must do double-duty.

I don't do anything to either pots or dishes  Don't really notice much noise unless on a really bumpy road. I do put a towel between the cabinet door and wine glasses, so they don't tumble out when I open the door. carold

Sorry for the delay in getting back to the thread, and thank you for your answers. It just so happens I've bought a very large roll of that liner stuff for another purpose (well, for lining shelves, come to think of it) and I'll save some for the pots - good idea!

Thanks again,
Megan
