As a Mom of a soldier, (who at this moment just finished a 30 hr shift at Baltimore Shock and Trauma taking care of 6 intubations, 5 bullet hole wounds, 2 central lines,1 chest tube and one DOA, all in preparation to be embedded with the Filipino Marines next month to ward off Al Qaeda cells on some of their islands), want to ask everyone to stop and say a prayer or send good thoughts to all our troops in the world. In our every day business we tend to over look this small task, but this soldier's Mom appreciates it. Thanks!

Thanks, Lenora, for the reminder.
The sacrifices made by our soldiers and their families are hard to wrap my head around.

Lenora,

Please express my thanks to your son for all that he does. They scrifice so much. my cousins son is a Marine Lt. and also a pilot who has been over to Iraq and Afghanistan at least twice that i know of. He has made a career out of the Marines and sacrifices so much for our freedoms.

I've had both my sons over there and back again safely so will definitely be thinking of yours. It is tough on them and hard on families waiting too.

As military retirees, we send our thoughts and prayers, everyday, for the safety of our troops in all combat areas.....for their families here at home....and for happy reunions as soon as possible.....we've been in their shoes and know how much well wishes and public support means....an extra prayer for you son is on it's way.....Thanks to all who serve and thanks for all your support....

Most of us have family or close friends serving our country. They deserve all our thanks, support, praise and prayers. Lenora, I know you swell with pride while being apprehensive for your son's willingness to give all his years of preparation in this effort.
