On an earlier post, I paraphrased a quote I like, but was too lazy to find the exact quote. Here it is:
"They whom we love and lost are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are."

It has been paraphrased by others - here is a version on a garden stone (you can find at Amazon):
They whom we love and lost are no longer where they were before. They are now forever in our hearts.
Either way, yes, they are always with us now.
