Maiden voyage

Yahoo. First camping trip of the year scheduled this week. John has completed most of the structural repairs on the '68 Shasta Loflyte. I have done some of the interior painting. Even tho it is not completed we are taking it on it's maiden camping voyage. The campground is only 8 miles from our farm and fortunately the group we are going with doesn't mind camping so close to home. By not driving a long distance, we'll just have more time to sit and enjoy the lake breezes. We'll finish the renovation when we get home so that it will be ready for our fall trip to AZ. Can't wait to be on the road. It"s camping time!!1

How exciting. Enjoy - then enjoy some more. It's not about how far you go in miles - but I bet that 8 miles will be like another dimension in the mind - away from home, camping. Yep. Enjoy. And find any bugs if there are any.
