Hi everyone, guess I was on the LOST list. Dan & I are doing fine, hating the NW weather and wish we were some place warmer...like back in Yuma AZ. We hate leaving there but had 2 graduations ( Nephew Jason & oldest granddaughter Jordan) to attend and my best friends daughter just had a baby and my youngest granddaughter Charlotte will be one in July. I also have my 40th class reunion in Sept. So hence we did not head East this Summer and hope to go NEXT Summer.
Last Summer we lost Felix our elder cat, had to put him to sleep because he had a rapid form of cancer. We gained a girl kitty named MOOCHY and she's a terror! Sashamio is glad to have a playmate tho because Biff the groutch never wants to play. My Mom is still doing great with the gourds and now using a scroll saw to create wonderful wood things...she's ALWAYS busy creating something!!
Had our share of woes...Frig in the RV went belly up just days before leaving Yuma, cost over $2,000 to put a new cooling unit on it so we could leave Yuma. Glad it happened in Yuma and not out in the middle of nowhere!! Had to upgrade our Thousand Trails membership to allow us 3 wks instead of 2 wks in the parks. We are losing so many of the campgrounds in WA near our family. I'm rarely on here, mostly on Facebook now and addicted to Frontierville and now playing Gardens Of Time. I miss going to the movies in Yuma on Wed for $4 and get a bucket of popcorn FREE. So many of our friends are buying lots down in Yuma now to have a warmer Winter.
We put in a drip system just before leaving Yuma so my plants are getting plenty to drink but also will have weeds ( goatheads) galore to kill when we get back!

Funny that Dan remarked that I did not want to go to his company picnic today up at Woodland Park in Seattle because it is cold and raining, that if I stayed home every time it rains I'd never go anywhere. I just remember I'm always cold sitting on cold benches, and today will be colder and he wants to chat with all his old work buddies and I'll be bored so I said I'm staying put!
Besides I'd rather watch the Doe and her fawn trotting through my campsite and watching the cats get all excited when they see a Squirrel or bird and I'm toasty warm in the RV. Yesterday was nice and I visited my friend never Seattle.

Glad to see your post, Jenny. I do keep up with your doings on FB, but not everybody does. I'm loving the cooler weather in NY right now, and sooo glad I'm not in hot humid FL. Enjoy your time with family, even if you can't enjoy the weather.

Enjoyed reading about more here, Jenny - didn't know a few things you posted. So thanks for that. Hope to see you this coming winter. Although, like your summer, I have nothing set in stone for the winter - all intentions are to make it to AZ though.

Glad to hear from you, Jenny. We are leaving Vancouver, WA tomorrow and heading somewhere farther north. tGM hasn't made it known yet
Maybe we'll be near you. Glad everything is going well (except for the $$ on the MH). Not that we ever spent $ on our stick home
. Maybe the weather will improve as we drive our FL MH thru the state
. Keep in touch. carold

We're in Fall City WA till Sunday and then heading to the Thousand Trails park in Monroe WA for a month. Had res for 3 wks and bought out our 4th wk. Crossing my fingers we get a FH site since we are staying a month. Hope to get the grandkids up for a picnic or overnighter. Hard to believe GD jordan will be 19 next month, seem's like just yesterday she was a little kid. She's college bound now, wants to be a Nurse midwife in Seattle.

Sheila where are you and Larry? Weather looks crappy thru the weekend....hum maybe we'll have a quiet weekend in the campground then. Heard since they made Tall Chief a public park the weekenders really push the staff's patience. Too bad that people are not taught campground code of conduct at a earlier age because when they are handed the info they ignore it as adults~Sigh
. Heard the fire in Arizona was caused by a campfire that was not watched. Sad, really sad
Will see if we can get together with mom & dad and my Sister on Sunday before we head to Monroe for Mom's belated Birthday/Father's day dinner. They were out of town so could not celebrate earlier. We are enjoying seeing family and friends but sure hate the weather!
We got a chance to have dinner with Sharlotte & Jim Cain while they were here visiting their daughter. Hadn't seen them since our 2006 get together in Louisiana at Betty's RV Park in Abbeville.

Jenny we are over in ID just south of West Yellowstone about 25 miles in the prettiest campground but then we are just slightly prejudice!
hadn't heard that the fire was started by campfire that is so too bad..we have had a lot of rain didn't even get into the campground until the Friday before Memorial Day...but the campground wasn't open until Memorial day had way too much snow to open and even then we had to place campers in other campsites than the one that they had reserved...but it is gone and now the mosquitoes are out in swarms....will wait for the pine pollen to get rid of them..atleast that is what happened last year..
Had Navajo taco's tonight daughter was here with the kids
