We are at Daughters in Washington

We finally have slowed down enough to stay in one place for a while. Have plans to meet with Jenny and Dan for supper this week. They are in the same area as us and we are gonna have a mini GTG.
Guess the Lord was watching out for my daughter as she was rear ended on Wed on I 5. She is ok, but having a lot of pain from the whiplash and radiating down her hips and the back of her legs. We have been staying at her house and taking care of her. Yesterday she was about to go stir crazy, and the sun popped out finally, and we grabbed all athree dogs, her heating pad, got in the truck and did a loop through the opened roads of Mt. Rainier. She has lived here for over a year and never been. It was beautiful, snow still around, views were beautiful. We saw deer, and got a pic of a fox still in white fur. But not being used to taking pain pills, she left hers at home, and was really hurting pretty bad by the time we got back to her house after 7 hours. Would appreciate your prayers for a quick recovery, (or enough so she can go back to work, as she is frustrated knowing things need to be done)
Will post pics when I can.

Glad that you arrived at daughter's safely but am sorry to hear that she is suffering whiplash pain. It's good that you can be there to help her and her new hubby out. Nothing like having your mom close by. Prayers for a speedy recovery. Enjoy the WA area as much as possible.

Glad you finally found a resting place after skedadaling (is that a real word  ) across country, but sorry to hear about your daughter. Guess you arrived at the right time. Nothing nice about whiplash, so hoping it doesn't last long. Nice to hear that you're meeting up with Jenny and Dan. Hope you get to take some pictures and update us on what's happening with them. Haven't heard from them in a looooong time. tGM was stationed at McChord AFB in the 60's and we lived in Tacoma. Beautiful area. Enjoy it. carold

Oh, gosh, I'm so glad she wasn't hurt worse, but whiplash is awful, too. It's going to take some time for that to heal. It is fortunate that she now has her Mama to love on her. will keep her in my prayers.

Good to hear from you Charlotte, sorry to hear about your daughter. Those whiplash things are really painful, I've had 2, and take a long time to recover from. Chiropractic helps. Take care of your baby. Bet she's glad mama's there to help!

Neck and spine pain is no fun and sometimes difficult to get a handle on. Good thing you are there to help out. :)
