A few of you have asked about this job, so here's the website that tells all about it and includes a video as well. http://www.sekjobs.com/

Because we're all hired by the employment agency, I'm not sure about discounts on books or anything, but intend to find out when I start work. If you're a member of workampers.com, there has been a fairly active discussion on a few forums there from new people and people who worked for amazon.com last year. It sounds like pretty hard work, at least being on your feet for a 10-hour shift, but I understand from last year's employees that there is the chance for overtime as well.

I'm doing it as a new adventure as well as to earn enough money to perhaps take it easy the rest of the winter--we'll see. So, check out the website.

I'll do that. BTW, did you notice they still need people beginning in November through Dec. 23?

On the website they have info on camping. So are a lot of their employees workampers or stay in campgrounds? You mentioned about being offered transporation.

Lenora,
They advertise a LOT in the workamper news - so I'm sure they get quite a few workampers.

Just a note - I've worked in similar warehouses - and this is HARD work - which Chris mentioned before. The good thing about it, is that it's only for a couple months - so it's usually doable for many people.

Another good paying, but hard job - are many of the holiday Christmas tree lots - long hours, some heavy work, but generally good pay.

Chris, I, too, look forward to you giving us first hand knowledge of how this works out for you.
