Woopee we are finally on the road

Hi Sistas,as I write, this with laptop balancing on a stool, we are at the Grand Canyon. we left the camp on Mother's Day and got here yesterday. Sure is a pretty place.
We have decided we didn't bring enough warm clothes. It has dropped to 31 degrees at night and a few days it was only in the 5o's for a high. We even got snowed on day before yesterday.
When we leave here, we are going to Sedona.
Will post pics later.

Hi Marslet. We have passed thru the night-well, sort of. We went from Sedona to Page and then Zion. Will be leaving tomorrow for Bryce (at least that's the plan today
) We love Sedona and I believe Carolyn (Sunshinecruiser) and Becky will be there on the 20th for a week. We may be north of you but the weather is warmer. Enjoy your visit and hope to see pics. carold

Pictures are nice, but more important is having a GREAT time. Enjoy this journey, every minute of it.
My first year out I learned I needed some heavier clothes for lots of places - I like layers because I can add/subtract as necesary. Maybe you'll have to purchase a souvenir sweatshirt

when we left Quartzsite AZ some cactus had bloom others were just starting to bud out you will have to check them out and see what is blooming take lots of pictures and enjoy the heat when you get to it

We went to the Grand Canyon the first week in June one time. We left Louisiana in shorts and sandals and had to buy sweat shirts when we got to the mountains. It even snowed on us. I still think that was our best trip ever. Hope to do it again when I have time.
