Bad weather in Florida

I hope all of you down in Florida are OK! My girlfriend who lives north of Tampa said it was pretty bad there and all over. Saw some photos and news reports and it looked pretty bad from heavy rain, high winds and tornadoes.

Had some really hard rain and wind in my area. Had a short period of hail this morning. Everything is fine here. Think there was some tornado watches going on down toward Ocala.

Just saw on the Weather Channel that the Tampa area across has gotten some tornado type action. Trees down, small airplanes overturned etc.

So glad to hear you all are ok. Just read that Soos made it through ok too. These storms that seem to be rolling through the south, are not usual. I remember the summer rain showers that sometimes, really didn't cool, just made it muggy. Its not summer yet though, so the weather is objecting to the change over this yr., everywhere.

I thought living up here would be leaving some of that behind, well its up here too, and the thunder alone would not be bad, but the lightening and high winds are scary. It sounds like Fl. had more then its share yesterday.

Stay safe and pay attention to the weather down there.
