My daughter has been dating a wonderful man and they set the date for August. Several years ago when he was in the military he was injured after walking off a 300' cliff on night maneuvers. The VA has FINALLY decided that since the vertabrae (sp?) in his neck is twisted and he's been pain since it happened and he could move wrong and end up paralyzed from the neck down, that he needs surgery. They scheduled it for April 13th. He's been worried about my daughter Melissa being taken care of if anything should happen to him so they are getting married today at the courthouse. They will also have their August wedding for their friends and family so they get two weddings. Please pray for him for a good outcome with his upcoming surgery. He's pretty scared as they told him he could die on the table or could end up completely paralyzed. The good news is that he has one of the best surgeons in the country doing the surgery with many of these types of surgery under his belt. The doctors back in Virginia didn't see anything wrong. The VA doctor here took one look at the Xray and sent him the same day to a surgeon.
