Just a quick note to let you know that I updated the sign, so it now has my name on it as well.
Many of you know from reading my various posts that I have mentioned working on a sign to hang out at my campsite when I am out with my TT. Well, after working on it, on and off for the past few weeks, I finally finished it. Everyone wanted pics, so here it is.
The beginning, a 1x12x24 inch board cut down to 21 inches.
Then copying a couple of clip art pictures off the web, plus using my imagination, some stencils, acrylic paints and paint sticks, I drafted up the main scene.
A couple coats of paint, some scrapbook stickers, some glitter and a bit of glue, the main sign is done awaiting the finish coating.
Later on, after a few coats of Mod Podge were applied and some Polyurethen over it all, Plus a frame, the main sign was done.
I then cut some smaller pieces of wood for the rest of the sign, painted them, used scrapbook letters to make the wording, sealed it with Mod Podge and Poly again.
After it was all assembled, I now have a Camping Sign. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the glitter effect on the lake. When the sun shines on it, it makes it sparkle.
All I need to do now is get a metal stake to hang it up on.
