Hi ladies,
I haven't posted in awhile, but I did go to that boat & RV show in Louisville this past weekend. Lots of both, but as I've mentioned before, I'm looking at class B (Roadtrek 170 or 190 preferably) and very few of those there. Even so, glad I got myself out & went even though no one around here shares my enthusiasm. It's always more fun with a girlfriend along! Still no luck on my RT search although I have made several email contacts. My sister RT owner in GA assures me that more RVs will come out of hiding as it moves toward spring. Sure hope so, I really hoped to have a vehicle to use for my spring break in March...now I've revised my thinking that I can use that time to go check some out...if I can find some reasonably close! Guess it'll happen if it's meant to....
Just wanted to check back in with an update on the saga
Everybody keep well in this crazy winter weather!
Saretta

I can attest to that
You'll find her. As you are so specific in what you want, it might take a bit longer. Just be patient and keep hunting.

Keep looking and don't settle. That's my advice.
I do love my Little Missy (23 ft Gulfstream), but still long for a Pleasure Way or RT. Just can't afford one, nor can I find them around here. There was one in Denver last year that I so wanted!

We've had oodles of women on here with the same story and most of them have found their dream home. Some got exactly what they were looking for, some fell in love with something totally different. Keep your expectations and your mind open....It'll happen when it's supposed to happen.
Speaking of which, there's a nice little class B on the lot where Hope gets her owies fixed...I toured the inside, well, as much as you can tour one of those midgets, and it was in pristine condition....good tires, 12,000 miles on a Ford chassis. Hope just looked at it and almost rolled over on her tires laughing. Just kidding, I have the utmost respect for anyone that can live in a class B. Just not for me, which is why there are so many sizes and styles out there. Anyway, if anyone is interested, I'll get more info....I think it was an '08, 52,000 dollars. They're hungry like all of the dealers, so I'm sure the price will come down.

Saretta, I have been checking www.rvonline.com for a 5th wheel and out of curiosity looked at the Roadtreks, etc. There must be quite a demand for the smaller mhs now. There was one 170 that hadn't sold, just thought you might want to look. I have a Chinook 24' that might be for sale later. I'll probably put it on this site as I have had good luck in the past selling past rv's. Good luck with your search. Nancy

When you see the right one, you will just get down on your knees and smile while you crawl all over it. You will look just like a little girl that got her first, this is what I really really want, toy. Just have patience. Know it is out there - you have to wait until the good Lord is ready to show you where it is.

Yall are just what I needed....even the singing (thank you very much!). I will perservere and I have looked at the sites mentioned. My home space limits my size and it will be for relatively short trips as I'll be working for at least 8 more years...unless I win that PowerBall, then I'll just go out and buy me a brand new one!
I appreciate all the comments & will keep on truckin' until I can start 'trekin''!
