Springtime On Its Way

Well, we've had 2 weeks of awesome weather, and after working in my garden a couple of weeks ago I'm now able to see just how big my daffodils have gotten. They were about 3" above the ground 10 days ago & now they're budding & blooming!
I also planted some new carnations, and they're doing well:
And under my mayten tree I have a bunch of primroses. They're spring flowers here, and in the summer when it's hot the flowers die off but the plant stays. Very colorful little things!
I also have a bunch of violas, or johnny jump-ups, that are doing well:
These aren't very good pictures as I took them late in the afternoon with my Droid. I'll get out there with my big camera in some better light once the daffodils really take off. But for now I hope this will encourage those of you with lots of white stuff on the ground. Spring will come -- just a few months later than here!
