Maggie and I, made our escape today !!! Driveway still looked rough and slushie, but i have two layers of stone in it, so thought under the slush, we would still be alright. Besides being stuck IN TRYING was better then another day stuck at home !!! We managed to haul off all the trash, it was either it moves out, Or we do Went to the Grocery store, been out of bread for over a week and I made biscuits and all I am going to say about them is they sure weren't the kind I used to make

Just thought I would post that Maggie and I, have been freed, for how long only the Good Lord knows. They're saying another winter blast coming !! I hope not as I have dr. apps, this Friday and next Monday. Can't cancel them again, want it all done and over with. Besides, I really need a few days of freedom, whether I go anywhere or not, its just nice to know I CAN.

Snow is gone enough around r.v. that I went out and ran r.v. motor, and now have gen running. May not be able to go anywhere, but boy when I want to go, I want it running !!!!!
So even though drive was kind of on a droopy looking day, with snow piled high everywhere except on the road and its starting to rain, Maggie and I, really enjoyed our ride. She stood up at the window for ages, just looking out at different scencry. She has been getting where when I take her out to do her business, she DOES NOT want to come back in this house. She is not the only one.

I've been alright in prison here, plenty of projects, but yesterday discovered, heck with the projects I needed out of here. 12 days is my limit, I guess, before she blows !!!!! If its been more then that, please don't say it out loud.

i want to thank all of my friends here, for making me laugh and letting me know there is an outside world and some of you are having some good times. The ones heading to Fl, safe travels and sure looking forward to all the pix and news from who does what and we want the truth when the law gets called, no being evasive as we were last year

Wow, I am glad y'all were able to get out and about. It's raining and very dreary here in Kentucky, was tempted to just stay in bed but that would just make things worse. So I also got out and did some errands. Hope your snow melts away soon and the sun comes out for you (before the next round hits). We are supposed to see more snow on Thursday, then I guess it'll head your way .

There is nothing quite as exciting as a good trip to the dump to brighten up ones outlook. Go Carol Go! She won't get in too much trouble....she knows that Maggie will tell on her.

Glad you were able to get out. Too bad you can't just keep on going...like to FL. Best wishes for dr. appts.

Yay Carol! wow, yes, 12 days is a long time to be snowed in, I'm glad you got out and about. And like others, I'm hoping for good doc visits for you.

Carol, did you take the scenic route to the dump? What about pics?????

Carol, I too am very glad you were able to break out of the ice castle prison. I always had 40 things that just needed to be done when it iced and snowed in OKC. However, when the ice and snow came in here this morning about 5 a.m. I had nothing whatsoever to get done. Did go feed the birds a little while ago. Was cold...but unlike you and Maggie I was way past ready to come inside. Probably, that cuz I wasn't captured for 12 days inside....ooohhh poor you. Enjoy your time cuz I think you all are due some more.....

Glad to hear you got out of prison finally. Although my reaction as a northerner living in that kind of weather, was "what". You have snow and you can't get out to go for a walk, make a snowman, go take pictures, or just get out and be out for awhile. But I know you are not used to that type of weather and that your roads etc. are not maintained like our roads etc. So I am glad you got to get rid of your trash and got your bread and even made some biscuits, although you said they weren't the greatest But if nobodys there to eat them by yourself, doesn't matter anyway. Now if Maggie doesn't eat one, well.......
