Today may we take a moment in silence and remember all those lives that were lost on this day, seven years ago... Innocent people, fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers...family members and friends... May we never forget !

God Bless All and God Bless the USA !

Thanks for reminding everyone Barbz.

I remembered this morning. It's something each one of us should never forget.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing at that time. Can never watch reminders of that horrible day without remembering the horror of watching that on television. Always makes me sob hysterically. Tonight was no change. :(

I remembered also. I associate my birthday (Sept. 10)as being the day before things changed in the USA. Yes, I remember where I was also as I imagine many/most people do.

Great graphic, Zeee - unfortunately portraying something so horrific.

Yes, I remember where I was also. I think most of us probably do. And I remember not believing the person who told me and told me to get in to the tv set NOW.

Yes, I remember where I was, and how I found out. Also a phone call to turn on the tv quickly. Nice work on the graphic, Zee,... a nice tribute. thank you.

I was still in bed yesterday.....Ernie had the news on the TV and they were replaying the coverage of that terrible day....it woke me with a start and I thought....Oh, God...not again.....jumped out of bed, hurrying to the livingroom of the 5er and then realized that it was a replay and a tribute to the day.....yes, I remember where I was that day.....and I will never forget!!

After reading and responding to this tribute I had to email a friend of mine. He is an author and is in the process of co-authoring a book with Kim Becwar. She wrote the following:

NOT TODAY

Fear was felt today as lives were taken away,
Moments passed slowly & quickly at the same time.
Screams, disbelief, & the inability to find something to say,
It’s amazing how life can turn on a dime.

What was once here is now gone in a flash,
And no one will ever be the same.
All that’s left now is blood, chaos & ash,
And people trying to find someone to blame.

“Cowards did this to us” they say,
Taking family & friends from us forever.
Savagely destroying illusions of safely keeping enemies away,
Quietly sneaking in & thinking they’re clever.

We know that what we are is what we say,
We will not fall to our knees except to pray.
A nation of life, liberty & freedom no one can take away,
And we will not fall…not today.
