New Member Color Change

We've got a lot of new members who haven't posted. I just did some changing in the back end, and all new members will have their names appearing at first in a weird greenish color. After they post and we are assured they aren't spammers, at some point I'll switch them from "new member" status to regular member status which will change their color to the same as the rest of us. I'm also getting better at sending emails to those who haven't posted anything - just sent a mass email to all those I put in "new member" status asking for intros within 2 weeks. At that time, I'll delete out those who haven't posted and who were sent that email.
After that gets cleaned up - going to start looking back at members who haven't posted in a long time and contacting them. One, I worry about members we know who disappear without notice, and two we want to get them back in the fold. If some have disappeared and don't answer, will eventually delete them also. Hope we don't have to do that with many.
Let's hope most of the "new members" are legit and we'll get a whole big influx of intros to start 2011! And let's hope the spammers just don't respond - but if they do, remember, do NOT respond to them, and do not open any links in their posts. Oh, you might not want to open links in any new members posts until/unless you are sure they are legit. Just to be safe. I don't want to see anyone get a virus by a link posted on here. Wouldn't that stink!
