The Saga Continues

I have always considered myself a praying woman, but if you are not a praying woman buy yourself an RV and tow it through tight gas stations, winding tree lined state park roads, old tight city streets; be concerend about a "Brand New hitch" you are not happy with, drive in torrential rain, set up and take down in torrential rain. And keep laughing while you are doing it.
So, all that said. I camp at Nehalem State Park...great state park, only $20 for hookups. Get up in the morning to the most magnificent vista of golden sun on the 900 foot cliffs with waves crashing on them, east wind blowing back the spray of the huge ocean surf, mountains with sun and rising mist; unbelievable beauty, (I will never leave the trailer without the camera again) It was mind-blowing beauty. I was the only person on the beach, just me and God and a few seagulls. Then I head back to load up and head for my final destination in Netarts Bay, between two capes and beautiful Oregon cliffs. Hooked one of the brand-spankin new weight distribution trunnions into place and the other one, as yet untouched, popped it's pin right out of the hitch....there I was. Luckinly, just the night before I googled, and found "Tillamook Oregon RV Service" because I didn't like the performance of my hitch and didn't like they way it was attached by the dealer so I planned to stop by and get them to do it right. so I got out my laptop and googled them, got their number and gave them a call. He said go-ahead and slowly limp in the 26 miles on highway 101 to his place of business with just a basic hitchup which causes my truck to take all the weight on its rear end. I made it without much traffic and only went 40 mph or less. Lots of little towns on the beach so speed was reduced greately, thank God. Got to the place and 4 hours later they had me all set up in perfect order. The broken pin took them an hour to get out of it's hole. They said the hitch set up is a good one but the RV dealer did a crap job of mounting it. He called the Rv dealer and gave them hell; they paid for the whole thing. I was so happy with their help I almost cried in front of them and I am NOT a crier.
Then I got to my final desitination, later than planned, started to set up and it got dark, so once all was done I went inside my trailer to pour myself a drink (not a drinker but my sister gave me two minis so I thought, now is the time) I opened the fridge to get out the icecube tray, hit the door of the refridgerator and all the cubes went flyin everywhere....I tell you this is just way toooooo funny. I am laughing about the whole thing and sensing God's care in all of this....but man-o-man, this has been quite the start.
