Herschel is in IL

Herschel has navigated our way to Giant City State Park near Carbondale, IL. Only electric hook ups and the roads are a bit rustic but the trees are nice after sitting on gravel and concrete for 5 days and the park only has a scattering of rigs. Stuart has Squirrels and everyone is looking forward to longer walks in the woods tomorrow! Oh, and the best part is we get a GTG with BJ!

Glad you're in for the night. How long did it take to get there? I have that park on my list of possibilities when heading north - so please let me know how you like it. Not sure of my route yet, but that's a possibility.

Glad you found the puppers a nice park. Also glad you're going to gtg with BJ. Roe is bummed because the Pleasureway is being packed for a trip to TX and his stuff isn't going in it. Joselyn is going to take care of Roe and Bandit while I'm gone. It'll seem strange traveling without them.

Never mind my asking about the route there - as I usually do - I've changed my plans. Going a different direction north - to where my relatives on my mom's side came from. Have meant to go there all the years I've been rving - finally going to do so - visit the cemetary and our family park. Will be good for me.
